Only because I'm too tired to post anything funny:

The Wife and I went to a Verizon store over the weekend because her 6 month-old phone is no longer holding a charge. The battery is still under warranty, so they ordered us up a new one. While doing so, the guy offered this advice: Apparently cell phone batteries are no longer made to be charged for long periods of time. For example, we normally plug our phones in when we go to sleep and unplug them when we wake up. He said that's a big no-no. He said the batteries get hot as they charge, and if you leave them plugged in after they've fully charged, and it damages the longevity of the battery. He also said if they get too hot from being plugged in too long that the batteries can swell and in doing so void the warranty.

He said the rule of thumb is one hour of charging per bar missing from that little battery icon. Anything more then that will toast the battery life. Good to know, right? Right.

Back with the funny tomorrow.

Much love from Brooklyn!

Later, -T-
