I just rode the subway from Yankee Stadium to my subway stop in Brooklyn. Pay attention, because this is important: I got on the 4 train at 9:57pm. I then transfered from the 4 to the N then transfered again from the N to the R. I got off the R at 10:39pm

42 minutes to get from Yankee Stadium to Park Slope! That's got to be some kind of record!

What's that? You want pictures? I got your pictures right here!

The view from my first ever trip to Yankee Stadium. My camera phone was able to catch this fantastic shot because (a): When you're five rows from the top of the stadium, you have a wide field of view and (b): cold air has fewer schlieren disturbances. Since it felt like a million degrees below zero, the picture came out real clear like.

I tipped the beer lady a dollar for her ingenious beer covers. They allowed me to carry these beers way up the stairs without spilling a drop.

I refused to buy these. Bud Lite was $9 for a tall boy and that seemed like a deal! Also of note, my beer never got warm! I guess there is an upside to sitting in the cold!

Ever wonder what happens when an entire stadium full of people tries to get on the same subway train? Imagine a riot, but with less talking and more direction. I felt so violated...

Home within 42 minutes! (See that shadow? That's me!)

Much love from Brooklyn!

P.S. Many thanks to River Ave Blues for the linkage!
